A booking at Cwtch y Môr is confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued. The lead guest must be over 25 years of age and accepts responsibility for all members of the party. We reserve the right to decline bookings that do not meet this requirement.

Booking and payment
All bookings made online are payable in full at the time of booking via Stripe.

If you prefer to book directly, please use the booking form. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your stay, payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. If the balance is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain any monies already paid.

Cancellations and refunds
For bookings paid in full, cancellations made more than 6 weeks before arrival will receive a 50% refund.

If the property is re-let for the same dates, at the same price or higher, a full refund may be issued less a £50 administration fee.

If the property is re-let for a shorter stay or lower value, any refund will be based on the value of the re-let period, less the £50 administration fee.

Your stay with us
Cwtch y Môr is designed as a peaceful coastal retreat. It is not suitable for parties, events, stag or hen gatherings. Maximum occupancy must be respected at all times, and guests are asked to treat the property with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition.

Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 10am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Strictly no smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere inside the property.

Pets are not permitted.

Parking is provided in two allocated bays only. Please park considerately and respect neighbouring properties. No EV charging is available.

Care of the property
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. This includes breakages, stains, missing items, or additional cleaning required due to misuse. Fair wear and tear is expected and understood as normal use of a well-loved home.

We reserve the right to charge for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning where required.

Lost keys, lockouts, or call-outs may be subject to a reasonable charge.

Peace and respect
As the property is within a residential setting, we kindly ask guests to respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, particularly between 10pm and 8am.

Security deposit
We may request a security deposit prior to arrival. This may be used against damage, excessive cleaning, lost keys, or breaches of house rules. Any unused balance will be returned after departure.

Liability
We do not accept liability for loss, damage, injury or illness unless caused by our negligence.

Force majeure
Occasionally, events outside our control may affect your stay, including severe weather, power outages, or transport disruption. In such cases, we cannot accept responsibility.

Right of entry
We may enter the property in the case of emergency or essential maintenance. Where possible, we will always provide notice.

Data and privacy
Guest details are used solely for managing your booking and meeting legal obligations in line with UK GDPR. Your information is stored securely and is never shared except where required by law or booking platforms.

During your stay
If anything is not quite right, please let us know during your stay so we can resolve it promptly. We may be unable to address concerns raised after departure.

Travel insurance
We strongly recommend guests take out appropriate travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes or cancellations.
